Upspring Media has worked with the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival since its inception in 2011. The Festival is now a nine-day, multi-island event featuring a roster of over 125 internationally renowned master chefs, culinary personalities, and wine and spirit producers.

Long-time Partner

We’re honored to have been part of the Hawaii Food & Festival team since its inaugural year. We designed and developed the official event website (in English and Japanese) and assisted with various design and marketing projects. We continue to implement design enhancements and technical upgrades each year.

Growth

As the Festival grows each year, so does its design and digital needs. What started as a pilot event in 2011 has evolved to a world-class affair, attracting thousands of residents and visitors. The expanding popularity of the event, along with the emergence of new digital standards and technologies, has made this an exciting project to support.

Deliverables

We designed and developed a bilingual website and integrated an online ticketing engine. We added a mobile version of the website in 2013. Over the years, we also designed print ads for major print publications; posters and flyers for four hotels; airport signage for a large four-panel display; badges for more than 300 chefs, vendors and staff; and tickets, sponsorship letters, and collateral seen and used by more than 9,000 attendees.

We wanted to create excitement for and at the event with the understanding that each piece of the puzzle would enhance the next.

Results

We are proud to continue our partnership with the Hawaii Food & Wine Festival and look forward to helping the event flourish even further in years to come.
